Indo Seals Pvt. Ltd., W-97A, MIDC Ambad, Nashik 422010, Maharashtra, India, runs indoseals.com. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data you give us here: we decide why and how it is used.

This notice covers this website, its forms, and the calls, WhatsApp messages and emails that start from it.

When you ask for a quote or a call-back

• Your name, mobile number and, if you give them, your company, email and city
• What you need: the product, the kind of request and how urgent it is
• Duty details, if you give them: equipment, shaft size, speed, temperature, pressure, fluid, the seal you use now and the quantity
• Your message and any files you attach (photos, drawings, datasheets)
• Whether you want updates on WhatsApp, and the page you sent the form from

When you apply for a job

• The role, your name, mobile number, email and city, your message and your CV

When you call, email or WhatsApp us

What you tell us or send us. WhatsApp chats also pass through WhatsApp, under its own terms and privacy policy.

Our forms do not store your IP address. To stop spam, we keep a scrambled (one-way) form of it for one hour. Our website host and Cloudflare, which protects and speeds up this website, keep standard server logs (IP address, browser and pages requested) to keep it secure.

Only for the purpose shown next to each form, and these:

• To answer your request: to prepare and send a quote, and to follow it up
• To call you back about a seal that has failed
• To consider you for the job you applied for
• To send you updates on WhatsApp, only if you ticked that box
• To keep the website secure and free of spam
• Once you are a customer, to keep the records that tax and company law require

You give us these details by sending a form, for the purpose shown with it. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

• Our sales, service, accounts and HR staff, as their work needs
• Companies that run services for us and may use the data only for us: our website host, Cloudflare and our email provider. Their servers may be outside India.
• Government authorities and courts, when the law requires it

This website sets no cookies for visitors and runs no advertising or cross-site tracking scripts. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary cookie to tell people from bots. Staff who log in to manage the website get WordPress login cookies.

We may count visits and measure page speed with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not identify you.

The company film loads from YouTube (youtube-nocookie.com) only when you press play. Links to WhatsApp, YouTube and Google Maps take you to those services, under their own privacy policies.

• Quote and call-back requests, with their files: [3 years] after our last contact with you. If you become a customer, as long as tax and company law require us to keep business records.
• Job applications and CVs: [12 months] after you apply, unless you join us.
• Server logs: [up to 30 days].

After that we delete the data, or keep it only in a form that no longer identifies you.

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can:

• Ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, and who we have shared it with
• Ask us to correct, complete or update it
• Ask us to erase it once it is no longer needed for the purpose you gave it for, unless the law requires us to keep it
• Withdraw your consent at any time; this does not affect what we did before
• Nominate someone to act for you if you die or cannot act yourself
• Have a complaint about how we handle your data answered by our Grievance Officer

Email [email protected] with "Personal data" in the subject. We reply within [30 days]. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

The website uses HTTPS. Files you upload are kept in a closed folder that only our staff can download from, and only the people who need your data can see it. No system is perfectly secure: if a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board as the law requires.

This website is meant for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18, and job applicants must be 18 or older.
